In September 1905, mysterious lights began appearing above a piece of land just north of Marion city known as Hinamon Woods. Various theories around town attributed the lights to pranksters, natural phenomena and even ghosts. Whatever the explanation, after catching the attention of people all over Marion, the lights just as mysteriously disappeared.
