We started Spooky Marion in September of 2008. The project is a result of our mutual interest in Marion’s history and our belief that, if one is wiling to look for them, even small towns like Marion are full of odd, bloody, creepy and otherworldly stories. While the truth of the stories themselves may occasionally be debatable, we have made every effort to cite the sources of the information we have used to create this site. This site is also a work in progress, and we will continue to update it as we dig up stories about Marion’s spooky side.
